Placing a SIM card for the Motorola Moto G6

A SIM card is essential for making calls, sending messages, and connecting to mobile data. Follow this simple guide to properly insert your SIM card into your phone.

Steps to insert your SIM card

  1. Power off your phone to prevent damage during the process.
  2. Locate the SIM card tray, usually on the side of your phone. You’ll need a SIM ejector tool or a small pin.
  3. Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and gently push until the tray pops out.
  4. Remove the tray and place your SIM card in the correct slot, ensuring the gold contacts face down.
  5. Carefully slide the tray back into your phone.
  6. Turn your phone back on. It should automatically detect the SIM card.

Once your SIM card is inserted, your phone will be ready to make calls, send texts, and use mobile data.
