Ik heb deze iPad gekocht als navigatiehulpmiddel in de cockpit. De Mini past goed op je schoot, ook in vliegtuigen waar de control stick tussen je benen zit. ForeFlight draait er heel goed op, maar gebruikt wel veel stroom met het scherm aan. Voor lange vluchten (vanaf, zeg, een uur of drie) wil je de iPad wel ondertussen bijladen. Hij wordt wel vrij warm in de zon achter plexiglas, maar is daar tot nu toe niet door uitgevallen. Nu ik hem heb, gebruik ik hem ook voor andere dingen, zoals YouTube en Netflix. De iPad heeft ook gewoon een goede beeldkwaliteit en is lekker handzaam.
